Vacancy: Resource Planner
Location: From your own workplace at home and/or head office Hoofddorp
Number of hours: 32 – 40 hours per week

At Macaw, we work with around 450 colleagues on challenging and innovative IT projects. We are a Microsoft and Sitecore specialist and have offices in the Netherlands, Germany and Lithuania. At Macaw, highly qualified professionals work on our own customer projects, such as Developers, Business Consultants, Technical Consultants, Architects, Analysts, Designers, etc.

The Competence Center Operations Support is responsible for internal and external resource management within Macaw.

What you will do as a Resource Planner

You will provide accurate resource planning for approximately 230 colleagues. As the primary contact person for our International Macaw organization, you are the person who is approached for all resource requests. You determine a tight and effective planning based on the requested needs of the customer versus the available personnel capacity at Macaw.. By using a skill matrix you are able to immediately make a good match or use your creativity in coming up with a solution for a complex resource issue.  You also provide advice to the Operations Manager regarding resource planning and actions that need to be taken.

In fact, you act as an operational “linking pin” between the Macaw Delivery organization and the Competence Centers, where all our professionals are working. It is important that you properly monitor and evaluate the resource planning, but also report on it. You are good at analyzing processes and identifying process improvements. And you monitor the time recording process like no one else.

  • HBO work and thinking level
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in an international organization
  • Knowledge of and experience with ICT processes and Microsoft stack in particular
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Someone who enjoys challenges
  • A proactive personality with analytical skills
  • Good communication skills in English (oral and written)
